ORDERING
Orders may be placed by Post, Fax, and Telephone or via the Internet and should include Product Number, Description, Originator’s Name, Job Title and Telephone number. If orders are followed up by post, please mark them clearly "CONFIRMATION ORDER" to avoid duplication. Duplicated orders, not marked as confirmation & being returned for credit, will be subject to a 20% re-stocking charge.
PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS
All descriptions, photographs and specifications of the products and services contained in the catalogue may be subject to change during the life of the catalogue. We reserve the right to make any changes to goods or services which do not in our opinion materially affect the quality of the goods or services. The most up-to-date product information is maintained on our web site at www.atp-instrumentation.co.uk and we make best endeavours to inform customers of changes at the time of ordering.
RETURNS
Any orders returned for credit, having been correctly supplied to customer requisitions, will be subject to a 20% re-stocking charge. Returns must be in a completely re-saleable condition with the original packaging. Credits will only be made after the goods have been inspected & confirmed as completely resaleable. Refunds, credits or exchanges will not be considered after a period of 28 days from receipt of delivery.
DELIVERY & HANDLING
Orders, which cannot be supplied from stock, will be acknowledged by post, stating the anticipated despatch date. We will part ship all orders unless the order states "No Part Shipments". A standard £7.50 carriage charge, excluding VAT, covers delivery, packing and insurance to most U.K. addresses. Addresses in the Highlands and Islands of Scotland and some addresses in Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and Isles of Scilly incur extra delivery charges. Please refer to page 4 of the current main catalogue or call for details. The standard carriage charge is waived for U.K. orders of £150 and over (excluding VAT).
DELIVERY DISCREPANCIES
Discrepancies must be reported to ATP in writing within 7 days of receipt of the delivery, after this time ATP will not accept any claims for incomplete or incorrect deliveries.
ACCOUNT FACILITIES
30-day nett accounts are available to all registered businesses, schools and local authorities. Should you wish to place a private order, please remember to add VAT and include a cheque with order, or telephone our Sales Dept. who can accept most major credit or debit cards. Export orders are only supplied on a prepayment basis.
PRICES & DISCOUNTS
Prices stated are net and exclusive of VAT. Discounts are available for bulk purchases. Prices are subject to change without notice, with orders being despatched at current prices.
GUARANTEE & SERVICE
All instruments are covered by a minimum 12 months guarantee with the exception of probes, electrodes, batteries & fuses. Any item returned under warranty will be subject to inspection and carriage charges if the item is found to be in working order or has been subject to misuse. After the expiry of the guarantee, ATP undertake to provide service and repairs with all costs being advised prior to the work being carried out. After evaluation of an instrument (over 12 months old), if you decide not to have it repaired or replaced, an evaluation fee of £25 will be charged.
WEEE DIRECTIVE
Collection and Recycling Arrangements in the UK. You are solely responsible for disposal of equipment in accordance with the regulations. When you buy new electrical and electronic equipment from ATP Instrumentation you are entitled to send old equipment for recycling on a one-for-one, like-for-like basis and send the new equipment back for recycling when this becomes waste. ATP pays for the costs of treatment, recycling and recovery of the WEEE and the costs of all administrative and reporting requirements of the WEEE Regulations. RETENTION OF TITLE
All goods remain the property of ATP until payment is made in full.
