Fridge Freezer Thermometers

Our selection of alcohol filled liquid and dial fridge freezer thermometers are ideal for maintaining chilled goods at the correct temperature. It is a legal requirement to ensure fresh produce that’s liable to spoil is kept at 8°C or below. To ensure this, the air temperature should be kept between 0°C and 5°C. Food requiring refrigeration can be kept at a higher temperature for no longer than 4 hours. It is recommended that freezers are maintained at -18°C.

Using Fridge Freezer Thermometers

Alcohol filled and bi-metal thermometers are ideal for constant placement within the fridge or freezer to maintain a constant indication of the current temperature. Specifically designed with a temperature range to cover chilled storage facilities they come with a variety of hooks to secure firmly into various locations within the fridge or freezer. As an alternative, our indoor outdoor thermometers make ideal fridge freezer thermometers as they contain dual sensors, allowing the external probe, connected by long wire, to be placed within the fridge or freezer whilst the unit remains outside monitoring external temperature. This allows the internal temperature to be checked whilst the unit is fully sealed and a comparison to be made to the external temperature.
