K-Type Thermometers

ATP’s range of K-Type Thermometers are available with single, dual or multiple inputs. We also provide a wide selection of k-type probes and data logging features across the range. A K-Type thermometer can accept various types of Thermocouple. A thermocouple is a temperature measuring device consisting of two dissimilar metals. The metals are welded at the tip to form what is commonly known as the thermocouple junction. The most common thermocouple junction is the type K as it provides the widest operating temperature range. There are a variety of others probe types suitable for different applications.

Type-K thermometers are your best choice of thermometer if you have several applications in one environment. They are suitable for extreme temperatures and high accuracy measurements. They are often found in laboratories and are commonly used in industrial practices. Dual/Multiple input type K thermometers provide the capacity to do comparative and differential readings. A variety of supporting features such as data hold and min/max memories are also available. This makes K-type thermometers amongst the most adaptable and desirable thermometers available.

K-Type Thermometer Probes

The main advantage of K-type thermometers is primarily in their versatility. All models contain a plug/socket connection allowing the connection of a wide range of probes. Basic K-type thermometer probes are supplied with most models. It is not unusual for an application to need a more suitable or specially adapted probe. These units provide the perfect interchangeable platform to support them all. High precision probes are available for air, liquid, penetration and surface temperature measurements.
