Terms and Conditions

Ordering

Post, Fax, Telephone & Internet orders should include Model number, Description, Originators Name, Job Title & Telephone Number. If orders are followed up by post, please mark them clearly ‘’CONFIRMATION ORDER’’ to avoid duplication. Duplicated orders not marked as confirmation & being returned for credit will be subject to a 20% restocking charge.

Product Specifications

All descriptions, photographs & specifications of the products & services may be subject to change. We reserve the right to make any changes to goods or services which do not, in our opinion, materially affect the quality of the goods or services. The most up-to-date product information is maintained on our website at www.atp-instrumentation.co.uk & we make the best endeavours to inform our customers of changes at the time of ordering.

Returns

Return costs are the responsibility of the customer. Any orders returned for credit having been correctly supplied to customer specification will be subject to a 20% restocking charge. Returns must be in a completely re-saleable condition with the original packaging. Refunds, credits or exchanges will only be made after the goods have been inspected & will not be considered after a period of 28 days from receipt of delivery.

Delivery & Handling

Orders which cannot be supplied from stock will be acknowledged stating the anticipated despatch date. We will part ship all orders unless the order states ‘No Part Shipment’’. A standard charge of £7.50 (ex VAT) covers delivery, packing & insurance to most UK addresses. Addresses in the Highlands & Islands of Scotland, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Isles of Scilly & the Channel Islands incur extra delivery charges. The standard delivery charge is waived for UK orders over £150.

Delivery Discrepancies

Discrepancies must be reported to ATP in writing within 7 days of the receipt of the delivery. After this time, ATP will not accept any claims for incomplete or incorrect deliveries.

Prices & Discounts

Prices stated are nett & exclusive of carriage charges & VAT. Discounts are available for bulk purchases. Prices are subject to change without notice with orders being despatched at current prices.

Calibration

A calibration service should not be requested on a product that is being shipped overseas as the transportation can adversely affect the readings & invalidate the calibration certificate.

Account Facilities

30-day nett monthly accounts are available to all registered businesses, schools & local authorities. Should you wish to place a private order, please remember to add carriage & VAT & send a cheque with the order or telephone our Sales Department who can accept most major credit/debit cards. Export orders are only supplied on a pre-payment basis.

Guarantee & Service

All instruments are covered by a minimum 12 month guarantee with the exception of probes, electrodes, adaptors, batteries & fuses. Any item returned under warranty will be inspected & no refund, exchange or credit will be given if the item is found to be in working order or has been subject to misuse. After the expiry of the guarantee, ATP undertake to provide service & repairs with all costs being advised prior to any work being carried out. After evaluation of an instrument (over a year old) if you decide not to have it repaired or replaced, an evaluation fee of £25 will be charged.

Retention of Title

All goods remain the property of ATP until payment is made in full.
